Remodeling of a library in Harriman, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the remodel of a three-story above grade library.

The work requires the removal and replacement of existing carpets throughout a three-level public library. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals. This includes removal and lawful disposal of current carpet and padding, subfloor inspection and preparation, furnishing and installation of commercial-grade carpet and padding, transitions, seams, finish work, protection of building components and contents, and final cleanup and debris removal. All work must adhere to applicable codes, industry standards, and city requirements. Separate, itemized quotations must be submitted for each of the three building levels, with details for carpet removal and disposal, carpet material, installation labor, and total cost per level. An optional total project cost may be included. The city reserves the right to award by level or in total. Bidders must certify non-collusion, proper licensing, legal compliance, and insurance coverage. All taxes, fees, permits, and licenses are to be included, except for sales tax for which the city is exempt. A site visit is strongly recommended. The estimated project duration should be included in the quotation. The city reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations, waive informalities or technicalities, request clarification, and award in the city's best interest by level or as a complete project.
