This project was awarded to Mastec Civil LLC in the amount of $9,209,010.20 The Blair Road West Extension project involves the extension of existing Blair Road from Waldron Road to Carothers Road. This extension of existing Blair Road will be referred to as Blair Road West. The project also includes intersection improvements at Blair Road and Waldron Road, a new roundabout at intersection of Blair Road West and Carothers Road, an extension of existing Sea Breeze Lane to connect to Blair Road West, and an extension of the existing Dobson Knob Trail to connect to Blair Road West. The project includes grading, installation of drainage, a new box culvert, asphalt and concrete pavement, roundabout construction, curb and gutter, sidewalk, pavement markings, waterline placement, erosion control and traffic control. All work is to take place within the right-of-way, slope easements, drainage easements and temporary construction easements that have been purchased by the City of La Vergne. The complete project includes improvements on Blair Road, Carothers Road, Waldron Road, Sea Breeze Lane, Dobson Knob Trail, and adjacent driveways and the total project length is approximately 1.45 miles long. Bid envelope must include the bid title, bid opening date, and the bidder's name. Failure to provide this information on the envelope may result in the bid not being considered.
