This project involves furnishing all labor, material, and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental for the HUD Healthy Homes Program HH-023 at three specified properties in Los Angeles County. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory Pre Quote/Job Walk Meeting for all properties. Bidders must submit quotes electronically with all required forms, proof of contractor's license, EPA certification, RRP Renovator Certification (Renovation, Repair & Painting), and evidence of insurance coverage. Quotes must be labeled appropriately and are the sole responsibility of the contractor to ensure timely and correct submission. Incomplete or late submissions, or those delivered to the wrong department, will not be considered. Contractors awarded the contract must execute a standard LACDA contract and associated forms. - Remove & dispose of existing unit. Provide and install a new exhaust fan with equal capacity. Exhaust fan replacement: Remove & dispose of existing unit. Provide and install a new exhaust fan with 50 CFM or greater capacity. Carbon monoxide detector: For new installations a battery-operated unit with 10-year service is required. For replacement units, the Contractor shall verify existing hard wiring is present and replace unit in kind. Window Screens: Remove existing screen if present.
