The City of Castlegar is seeking quotations for a short-term, temporary biosolids dewatering solution at the South Sewage Treatment Plant at 1865 Connors Road. The City’s current biosolids dewatering system, TenCate Geotubes, are not meeting performance requirements and a temporary, short-term solution is needed to dewater biosolids until a new permanent solution can be selected, designed, and installed. This short-term solution must produce biosolids with a minimum of 15% solids and eliminate the need to mix with wood waste prior to trucking and disposal.
