A Job Order Contract (JOC) is a competitively bid, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract for the accomplishment of repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction of buildings, structures, or other real property. The contract includes a collection of detailed repair and construction tasks and specifications with established unit prices. Bidders must submit Adjustment Factors to the published unit prices in the Unit Price Book. Individual projects are priced by multiplying selected construction tasks by quantities and applying the Adjustment Factor. The contractor will provide all management, labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to perform the work. Only one JOC contract will be awarded for a one-year term or until the expenditure of the Maximum Contract Value. A current and active California B contractor’s license is required at the time of bid submission and throughout the contract. Bids must be submitted online only through County of Ventura Procurement Services. Late bids, and bids submitted by facsimile, email, or any other method, will not be accepted. Only return the pages on which a response is required. Attendance at a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference via Zoom is required for all bidders; failure to attend will render a bid non-responsive. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in the process.
