The project consists of providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary for interior renovations, track and/or tennis court reconstruction at Algonquin Lakes Elementary School, Eastview Elementary School, Lake in the Hills Elementary School, Hampshire Middle School, Westfield Community School, Jacobs High School, and the Bunker Hill Transportation Building. Prospective bidders should contact Lamp Incorporated to be placed on the bid list and will be granted access to Smart Bid to download drawings for free. All contractors intending to bid must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last year. Qualification filings must be completed using Smart Bid. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid must accompany the Bid Form. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid amount, with sureties approved by the owner, and a Certificate of Insurance within ten days of the award of the contract. The successful bidder is required to pay Prevailing Wage for work under this contract and must submit certified payroll records in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities. The project is tax-exempt.
