Renovation of a mixed-use development in Royal Oak, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.
All items listed in the documents with the following clarifications 1. The District has pre-purchased the equipment. The approved shop drawings are attached to this bid package. This amount shall not include the amount for Griffin International in their bid. 2. This bidder shall all items shown on the documents that are not provided in the approved shop drawings. 3. The AHU-1 and AHU-2 for high school fabrication is scheduled to be completed around the end of March. This bidder is responsible for taking possession of this equipment and store in a secure location. 4. All other pre-purchased equipment, besides AHU-1 and AHU-2 for the High School, fabrication is scheduled to be completed around the middle of May. This bidder is responsible for taking possession of this equipment and store in a secure location. 5. Please see page 2 of this bid package for the schedule. 6. This bidder is responsible to protect all the gymnasium floors in accordance with the recommendation of our contractor Kuhn's Specialty Flooring. Their email address is robkuhn@kuhnspecialtyflooring.com. 7. This bidder is to provide all necessary training of each piece of equipment. 8. Bidder shall include in their bid an allowance of $5,000 for each building to be used at the discretion of the District. The allowance shall include only direct costs. All other costs, such as overhead, profit, bond, or other items shall be included in the base bid. Project Location - 1500 LEXINGTON BLVD, ROYAL OAK Ml, 48073. 709 N WASHINGTON AVE, ROYAL OAK Ml, 48067 The purpose is to obtain proposals from qualified contractors for gymnasium cooling/HVAC work at Royal Oak High School and Royal Oak Middle School. Sealed proposals must be submitted through Buildingconnected.com, and no physical bids will be accepted. Late proposals will not be accepted and all proposals must be signed by an authorized member of the contractor's firm. Prospective contractors may request clarification via email, and all communication except proposal delivery may be handled through email. The School District reserves broad rights to accept or reject any proposal, waive irregularities, and request additional information. All costs associated with proposal submission are the responsibility of the contractor, and all proposals are irrevocable for at least ninety days following the submission deadline. Collusive bidding is prohibited.
