Professional engineering services are to be provided, as needed, for the Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA) at John Glenn Columbus International (CMH) and Rickenbacker International (LCK) Airports. The specialized services may include: geo-technical investigation and pavement coring; surveying; design of new and repairs of asphalt and Portland cement concrete pavement in accordance with FAA and ODOT standards; preparation of safety/phasing plans and maintenance of traffic; preparation of material specifications; design and repairs of runway and/or taxiway edge light and guidance sign systems; site work design and storm water analysis; cost estimating; project scheduling; life cycle analysis; National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) services, including preparation of Categorical Exclusion documents and Environmental Assessments; airspace analysis and associated FAA submittals; safety assessment screenings and safety risk management panels; meeting coordination and attendance; coordination with city, state, and federal agencies; development of construction documents; assistance with bidding and bid process management; A/E services during construction, including inspection and materials testing; airside aircraft movement modeling; assistance and coordination of grant application submissions; determination of pavement classification rating; PFAS knowledge and mitigation strategies; design and repair of Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS), including lighting and instrument landing systems; and other related activities.
