Site work for a water / sewer project in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The project includes the construction of approximately 5,650 linear feet of new 12-inch water main, installation of two 16-inch and one 12-inch main line valves, replacement of one 16-inch valve, and the rebuilding of existing valves including eighty-seven 6-inch valves, twenty-seven 8-inch valves, fifteen 12-inch valves, and three 16-inch valves. The work includes both main line valves and hydrant watch valves. Rebuilding existing valves will involve installation of new stainless steel bolts on the valve bonnet and packing box. Many existing valves are deep and will need risers to grade. Most project limits are outside the City of Columbus corporate boundary and will require coordination and plan reviews by Delaware County, Franklin County, and Grove City.
