Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and either mailed, hand-delivered, or submitted electronically on or before the deadline. Each bid must be submitted in accordance with the County’s bid packet and include a cashier’s check, certified check, irrevocable letter of credit or bid bond, payable to Crook County, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. Each bid shall be submitted in a lump sum amount. Crook County reserves the right to accept the bid and award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder in the best interests of the County, to postpone the acceptance of bids and the award of the contract for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, or to reject any and all bids received and further advertise for bids.
