No time-frame is available for when this project will be awarded** Sealed proposals are requested for the Venice Park School Boilers project. Bids must be delivered by certified mail or recognized delivery service that provides certification of delivery. Facsimile and email bids are not accepted. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, treasurer's check, or Bid Bond with satisfactory corporate surety, in an amount not less than 10% of the Base Bid and not exceeding $20,000. The payee or obliged must be the Atlantic City Board of Education. Bidders must comply with New Jersey State Law requirements, including prequalification of bidders, prevailing wage rates, use of domestic materials, disclosure of individuals with a share of 10% or more, registration under the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, proof of registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, and submission of a surety company certificate for a bond as required. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The right is reserved to waive minor irregularities and reject bids. Compliance with laws against discrimination is required. The work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following items: 1. Site preparation and selective demolition 2. Construction layout and preconstruction photographs 3. Removal of existing boiler and associated appurtenances as shown on drawings. 4. Structural and masonry work per structural drawings and specifications. 5. Painting of Boiler Room 6. Installation of new boilers and new heating system pumps 7. Installation of new piping, pumps, fume exhaust, combustion air system, and boiler room ventilation, and all accessories as required to connect and control into existing heating system. 8. Electrical and control work as per electrical drawing and specifications 9. Site cleanup and restorations 10. As-built existing piping conditions of entire site for Owner records 11. Contract closeout. B.
