Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Sealed proposals are requested for the Venice Park School Boilers project. Bids must be delivered by certified mail or recognized delivery service that provides certification of delivery. Facsimile and email bids are not accepted. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, treasurer's check, or Bid Bond with satisfactory corporate surety, in an amount not less than 10% of the Base Bid and not exceeding $20,000. The payee or obligee must be the Atlantic City Board of Education. Bidders must comply with New Jersey State Law requirements, including prequalification of bidders, prevailing wage rates, use of domestic materials, disclosure of individuals with a share of 10% or more, registration under the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, proof of registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, and submission of a surety company certificate for a bond as required. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The right is reserved to waive minor irregularities and reject bids. Compliance with laws against discrimination is required.
