This requirement covers the reinspection of fifty-three fire and smoke dampers at the VA Illiana Health Care System that were inaccessible or failed during the initial inspection, including performing any necessary repairs on dampers that could not previously be accessed and completing all required inspections to ensure compliance with NFPA and Joint Commission standards. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, parts, tools, software, supplies, transportation, facilities, and supervision necessary to complete the work and shall perform any repairs identified during the reinspection to restore the dampers to proper working condition prior to final inspection in accordance with applicable codes and requirements.
