Renovation of a library in White Haven, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

This bid is for a public works contract and bidder is subject to the provisions, duties, obligations, and penalties of the Public Works Employment Verification Act. The Contractor shall be required to comply with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act in providing equal employment opportunities. The Bidder, in accordance with the President's Executive Order 11246, will be required to ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against on the basis of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin in employment or the provision of services. PA Prevailing Wages and Bonds will be required for this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any Bids or waive any irregularities. Bids may be held for 60 days after opening, however awarding of the contract to the lowest responsible bidder may be delayed 120 days in order to obtain other approvals. The Borough is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The contract will be awarded publicly at a Council meeting at the White Haven Borough Building, 312 Main St., White Haven, PA 18661. Estimated Contract Value: $375K Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds are required. A schedule of required Prevailing Wages is included in the Contract Documents.
