Site work and paving for a road / highway in Fairfield Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway.
**As of March 04, 2026, the project was awarded to Glenn O. Hawbaker, with an awarded amount of $163,963.80.** Sealed proposals will be received by Fairfield Township of Lycoming County, Pa., at 834 Fairfield Church Road, Montoursville, PA 17754 until 1:00 PM, on March 2, 2026, to be opened on March 2, 2026 at 7:00PM at Fairfield Township Municipal Building for the following contract: Paving Contract: Furnish and place approximately 1,757 Ton of Superpave Asphalt PG 64S-22, <0.3 Million ESALS, 9.5 MM Mix, SRL-M. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of worker's compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. PA Prevailing Wage Rates are required and included with this contract for bidding purposes. The Corrected Road names are the intersection from Rueben Kehrer Road and ending at Mall Road. We are accepting bids until March 2, 2026 at 1pm. The Board will then vote that night at the monthly Board meeting. Roadway widths vary on Cemetery Road from 19' to 23', Contractor shall confirm all required paving widths with Fairfield Township representative prior to paving. o As-directed contractor will be required to pave all paved ditch lines / Shoulder areas along various sections ofCemetery Road. Contractor shall confirm all paved ditch lines I Shoulder areas with Fairfield Township representative prior to paving. o Ditch lines I Shoulder areas widths vary on Cemetery Road from 1' to 3'. o Ditch line I Shoulder area paving lengths. o 827' o 382' o Fairfield Township will allow ditch line / shoulder paving to be performed separately, but if able to be performed with roadway paving is preferred. o Contractor shall be required to place asphalt paving leveling course at two locations within Cemetery' Road. These locations are at cross pipe locations with depressions within the roadway surface. Lengths and widths oflocations shall be verified by Fairfield Township official.
