Renovation of an educational facility in Woodbine, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Exterior renovations include window replacement in the 1965 and 1971 wings. This work must be coordinated with the Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) removal. c. Interior renovations include all work shown in the Contract Documents: o Acoustic ceiling tile and grid removal and replacement. o New acoustic ceiling tile and grid in the Art Room. o Corridor gang bathrooms and janitors closet reconfiguration and renovations. o Staff bathroom Renovations. o Main office reconfiguration with new offices. o New Vinyl Composite Tile and Base coordinated with ACM removal. o Painting. o New doors and hardware in renovated spaces. o Electrical work includes lighting and power. d. Interior building system includes all work shown in the Contract Documents: o Remove the existing hot water boilers, heat exchanger, storage tank, recirculation pumps and associated piping, combustion air intake ductwork, breeching, wiring, and controls and provide new high efficiency gas-fired condensing boilers, pumps, combustion air intake ductwork, breeching, piping, chemical water treatment, insulation, wiring, and controls in accordance with the contract documents. o Remove the existing Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system and all associated piping, wiring, and related accessories that serves the existing main office area and provide a new Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Heat Recovery System for the renovated offices areas including associated piping, insulation, refrigerant leak detection system, controls, wiring, and related accessories in accordance with the contract documents. o Remove and replace exhaust fans EF-1 through EF-5 including associated ductwork, diffusers, registers, controls, wiring, and related accessories in accordance with the contract documents. o Remove the existing unit heaters/cabinet unit heaters and provide new unit heaters/cabinet unit heaters including associated piping, piping insulation, valves, controls, wiring, and related accessories in accordance with the contract documents. o Remove the existing domestic hot water heat exchanger, storage tank, recirculation pump and associated piping, wiring and controls and provide a new electric tank-type domestic hot water heater, recirculation pump, mixing valve and all associated piping, insulation, wiring, controls, and related accessories in accordance with the contract documents. o Integration of all new mechanical equipment and controllers into the existing CM3 HVAC Control System so that equipment operates in accordance with the sequence of operations provided in the contract documents. o Pre-demolition and post construction testing and balancing reports including water quality analysis for new and existing equipment and systems in accordance with the contract documents. o Remove one (1) existing unit ventilator, one (1) remote condensing unit, and all associated piping, wiring, and accessories in accordance with the contract documents 11. Alternate Bid Item #1: Remove the existing bookshelf units next to all unit ventilators and replace them with new bookshelves as shown on drawings A9.0, A9.1 and A9.2. Remove the existing baseboard radiation enclosures and related accessories and provide new baseboard radiation enclosures and related accessories in accordance with the contract documents. The existing piping and baseboard radiation are to remain as currently installed except as required to remove the existing enclosures and to install the new enclosures. 12. Alternate Bid Item #2 - (Lighting): Remove and replace lighting in all classrooms, corridor and lobby as shown on electrical drawings E2.2 and E2.3. 13. Alternate Bid Item #3 - (Lighting): Remove and replace lighting in all kitchen, offices custodian office, boiler room and storage room as shown on electrical drawings E2.2 and E2.3. Sealed bids will be received for the Woodbine Elementary School 2026 Bond Referendum Renovations. Bidders must submit one Lump Sum Bid for all the work and materials. All Bidders and named Prime Subcontractors must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) with the appropriate DPMC classification associated with the work they will perform or subcontract. All business organizations must be registered with the State through the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. Bids must include a certified check, bank cashier's check, treasurer's check, or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, not exceeding $20,000.00. The project will be governed by New Jersey law, including requirements regarding prequalification, prevailing wage rates, use of domestic materials, and ownership disclosure certification. All required certificates and proof of registration must be included in the bid package or, where specified, provided prior to contract award. Submission instructions specify that bids must be delivered in an opaque sealed envelope clearly marked with the name of the Bidder and the Project, and must be received by the specified time and date. The right is reserved to reject all bids or to waive minor informalities, defects, and non-material exceptions. Bidders must comply with all relevant New Jersey statutes and regulations.
