Division 1 - Alternate 1 consists of approximately 9,300 linear feet of 60" diameter RCP tile, 680 linear feet of 54" diameter RCP tile, 400 linear feet of 48" diameter RCP tile, cross connections with the existing tile, connections of both existing private tile and district facilities to the new tile, placing trench foundation stone, all related structures and/or fabricated tile elbows, surface restoration including 12" minimum of tillage with rock disposal or all disturbed working area, and 5 stations of open ditch excavation including spoil bank leveling and seeding. Division 1 - Alternate 2 consists of approximately 10,000 linear feet of 60" diameter HDPE tile, 460 linear feet of 48" diameter tile, cross connections with the existing tile, connections of both existing private tile and district facilities to the new tile, placing trench foundation stone, all related structures and/or fabricated tile elbows, surface restoration including 12" minimum of tillage with rock disposal or all disturbed working area, and 5 stations of open ditch excavation including spoil bank leveling and seeding. Division 2 consists of approximately 66 linear feet of 60" diameter RCP tile open cut installation, road ditch seeding, traffic control, and all related structures and/or fabricated tile elbows. Division 3 consists of approximately 99 linear feet of 60" diameter RCP tile open cut installation, road ditch seeding, traffic control, and all related structures and/or fabricated tile elbows. Division 4 consists of 138 linear feet of 36" steel casing pipe bored trenchless installation, traffic control, and mobilization. All Divisions and Alternates also include any and all other miscellaneous items related thereto. The work is located in Drainage District No. 4 Lateral 11 , Kossuth County, Iowa, Bidders must bid on all Divisions and Alternates. The Board of Supervisors, acting as Trustees, will select any combination of Divisions and Alternates, which is in the best interest of the Drainage District, based on bid factors such as price, and pipe material. All Bidders will be required to complete each division and alternate of the "Proposal, Attachment C, Bid Items and Quantities" (including all alternate options) to be considered for the award. Preference shall be given to domestic construction materials and Iowa domestic labor as required by law. Failure to submit a fully completed Bidder Status Form with the bid may result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and rejected. Bidders shall not include sales tax in the bid. Payment will be made in accordance with estimates approved monthly and in Drainage Warrants issued by the Drainage District. Progress payments will be made in an amount equal to ninety percent of the work completed. Final payment will be made not less than thirty days after completion and acceptance by the Board.
