The project requires repaving and restriping the main entrance road in accordance with North Carolina Department of Transportation standards, as well as repairing, cleaning, and painting adjacent concrete curbing, and restoring any disturbed earth areas with reseeding. The contractor must develop and implement a traffic control plan, obtain any required permits, and remove and dispose of all debris and excess materials offsite. Work also includes installing seven new 30-inch by 30-inch solar-powered LED stop signs, nine 30-inch by 30-inch solar-powered LED pedestrian crosswalk signs, and nine new 12-inch by 24-inch directional arrow signs. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, hardware, and transportation necessary to install new signage and remove any existing signs or related equipment, as well as conduct site evaluations to verify material and equipment requirements.
