Renovation of a mixed-use development in East Fayetteville, North Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Refurbish and modernize two existing D-Wing hydraulic elevators (P-5 and P-6; 4,000 lb; 125 fpm; B/1/2 stops; duplex selective collective) serving the Emergency Room, Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, and Operating Rooms while maintaining hospital operations and life safety. Work includes demolition of legacy elevator systems; installation of non-proprietary modernization components; machine room and pit code upgrades; cab and hoistway door refurbishments; phased work and barriers in compliance with ICRA requirements; commissioning; training; and full closeout. Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform modernization, refurbishment, installation, and turnover of the elevators in accordance with the issued construction documents, specifications, and applicable federal, state, local, and VA codes and standards. Construction shall be completed within 450 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Estimated construction magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
