The project is for the ITS Kiosk Replacement (FTA) at various spot locations along 3rd Ave from Prefontaine Pl S to Stewart St. The work includes electrical work, excavation, sidewalk removal, and sidewalk restoration. Work is to be performed near the King County Metro overhead catenary system. The project is funded, in part, by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, and is subject to the requirements set forth by the FTA Master Agreement. The A/E estimate for the project is $450,000 to $500,000. Bidders must: • Complete and submit the Bid Form with unit prices for each bid item and all addenda acknowledged. • Include a Bid Guaranty of not less than 5% of the maximum bid amount including retail sales tax. • Be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) with no active exclusions. • Complete and sign the Buy America Certification, Anti-Lobbying Certification, Bidder’s List Form, and other required certifications. • Submit a Proposal for Incorporating Recycled Materials into the project. • Comply with requirements for contracting with small, minority, women’s, veteran-owned, and labor surplus area businesses. • Submit all bid item prices and the required bid package electronically via OpenGov, including all components at the time of bid submittal. • Follow all requirements connected to the Consent Decree regarding sanitary sewer and dry weather overflows, and operate in conformity with its terms. No pre-bid site inspection meeting is scheduled. All work must begin immediately on the Notice To Proceed date and be physically completed within 35 working days. Liquidated damages apply for failure to complete within this timeframe.
