The work consists of the removal of existing carpet, underlayment, and adhesive in designated areas of specified buildings, preparation of all flooring surfaces (including cleaning and scraping as needed), provision and installation of 14,350 sq. ft. of LVT Planks floor as specified in an attachment, installation of flooring in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications, and provision of all necessary equipment. Contractors are required to protect adjacent areas during the project and ensure cleanup and proper disposal of all materials and debris in compliance with applicable law. Bids must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the scope of work. Bidders must include with their bid detailed information about the manufacturer, specifications, warranties, and performance of the flooring to be used. Bids should be clear and concise, providing pricing quotes as well as detailed contact information for the contractor. Submission must also include background and qualifications of the bidder, proof of required licenses, certificate of insurance, references for similar projects, and any other information to enable thorough evaluation. Bids must be submitted in hard copy, in an opaque envelope marked accordingly, by the specified deadline. Familial Disclosure Affidavit, Iran Linked Business Affidavit, and any proposed contract documents must also be included. No oral, emailed, or faxed bids will be accepted. Contractors bear all costs related to preparation and submission of bids.
