The work also includes site and pavement restoration, tree removal and protection, storm water pollution prevention, and traffic control related to the construction of the water lines. Alternate 1 Bid involves the construction of approximately 3,000 linear feet of water lines and associated work, while Alternate 2 Bid includes approximately 1,500 linear feet of similar work. Each alternate includes services, fire hydrants, valves, fittings, connections, site and pavement restoration, tree protection, storm water pollution prevention, and traffic control as shown on the construction drawings and required by the Project Manual or as instructed by the Engineer. Bidders are instructed to review the attached Invitation to Bid and construction details for additional project information.
