Site work for a civil project in Sugar Land, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.

TxDOT will begin a new phase of construction in March 2026 to address erosion near the northbound US-59/I-69 Brazos River Bridge in Sugar Land. The work includes traffic shifts on the northbound main lanes, closure of access to the northbound frontage road over the river, and adjustments to detour routes affecting nearby neighborhoods and parks. The frontage road portion is expected to complete by March 2027, with total construction projected to finish in December 2027
