Sealed bids are being requested for the Partial Roof and Entrance Soffit Replacement at Von E. Mauger Middle School. Bidders must be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in either C068 - Roofing - Membrane Modified Bitumen or C070 - Roofing - Built Up. If the Bidder is not classified in the required disciplines (C030 - Plumbing; C032 - HVACR; C047 - Electrical), they must retain a DPMC-classified subcontractor for those trades and provide required documentation. If the Bidder is not classified as C008 - General Construction or C009 - General Construction/Alterations & Additions, they must retain a subcontractor classified as either C008 or C009. Bids must be submitted on the provided proposal forms, accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for at least ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, not to exceed $20,000. Bids must include a Consent of Surety obligating the surety to provide bonds for the full contract amount. Bidders must comply with applicable state statutes and regulations, including business registration and labor requirements. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive informality.
