Sealed bids are invited for Parking Lot and Paved Play Area Upgrades at Parker Elementary School. Bidding documents must be obtained by request to the architect via email and are only available for download from the specified FTP site. Bidders must be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) as C009 (General Construction - Alterations/Additions) or C054 (Site Work) at the time of bid opening. Bidders not classified as C047 (Electrical) or C056 (Sewer Piping & Storm Drains) must retain appropriately classified subcontractors, with specific requirements for naming and providing documentation for these subcontractors. Bids must be submitted on provided forms with a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for at least 10% of the bid (maximum $20,000), and include a Consent of Surety for a performance and payment bond. Bids are irrevocable for 60 days after opening. Bidders must comply with relevant legal requirements, including business and labor registrations, and statutory equal opportunity and affirmative action regulations. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities as permitted by law. A pre-bid conference will not be held. If a contractor wishes to inspect the site, they are to contact the architect to schedule a site visit. Site visits are not guaranteed.
