Sealed bids will be received for "Emergency Supplemental Snow Removal Services." Bids must be based upon and in strict accordance with the provided specifications. Each bid must be submitted on the provided forms and enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, addressed to the Town of West New York and plainly marked "Emergency Supplemental Snow Removal Services." Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond drawn to the order of the "Town of West New York" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not exceeding Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities must comply with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21. Bids must include a Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if successful, with a New Jersey Statutory Performance and Payment Bond in the full contract amount. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids in accordance with applicable law.
