Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

The work to be performed includes base bid milling and resurfacing of Lincoln Avenue from Anderson Avenue to Ridgefield Borough limits, with reconstruction of curbs, sidewalks, driveways, upgrading noncompliant ADA curb ramps, minor drainage improvements, construction of a speed table, and installation of regulatory and warning signs. The alternate bid includes milling and resurfacing Lincoln Avenue from Ridgefield Borough limits to South Bergen Boulevard, with reconstruction of curbs and sidewalks. Principal items in the project for the base bid are 6,600 S.Y. HMA Milling (3” or less), 1,025 TON Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course, 930 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk 4” Thick, and 2,490 L.F. 9” X 18” Concrete Vertical Curb. For the alternate bid: 830 S.Y. HMA Milling (3” or less), and 125 TON Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course. The contract must be completed within 60 calendar days of notice to proceed. Each bid must be submitted on prescribed forms and accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond of not less than ten percent of the amount bid and not to exceed $20,000.00. Bidders must provide a performance and payment bond for 100 percent of the accepted bid amount, policies or Certificates of Insurance, and comply with New Jersey laws regarding business authorization, equal employment opportunity, and disclosure of partners and stockholders. All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope labeled for the project. The successful bidder must comply with prevailing wage rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor. Bids are irrevocable for sixty days unless otherwise permitted by law, and the owner reserves the right to reject bids, waive informalities, or accept the lowest responsible bid.
