Watauga County invites bids for Middle Fork Greenway Section 3A Trailhead and Greenway. Instructions to bidders include attending a mandatory on-site meeting for the project, with RSVP required in case of weather delays. For project information and bid forms, bidders are directed to check the Watauga County Homepage or obtain paper copies at the County office after they are posted. All questions must be submitted in writing by February 18th at 5:00pm. Please remit all questions to catharine@interfaceenv.com. Erosion and sediment control measures, fill pad expansion and construction of parking area with connection to greenway trail, installation of two pedestrian bridges and abutments, construction of five retaining walls, installation of stormwater measures, construction of 1,675 linear feet of pedestrian greenway, and landscaping with installation of previously purchased benches and signs All access to the Site other than during a regularly scheduled Site visit must be coordinated through the following Owner or Engineer contact for visiting the Site: Watauga County. Bidders must conduct the required Site visit during normal working hours.
