Union County Public Schools is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide rooftop replacement at Monroe High School Auxiliary Gym at 1 High School Dr., Monroe, NC 28112. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly labeled "IFB No. 6-97648053: Rooftop Replacement - DO NOT OPEN." A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Monroe High School- Front Office for the purpose of reviewing project requirements and answering questions. Union County Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the contract as deemed in the best interest of the district. Rooftop Replacement - Monroe High - Work shall consist of removing existing HVAC units and all related rooftop components and providing complete installation of new rooftop units at Monroe High School Auxiliary Gym, per engineer's specifications. The contractor will furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and related services required for a fully operational replacement system in accordance with the engineer's specifications. Work to include removal, installation, electrical and control connections, startup, testing, and delivery of all required closeout documentation.
