Bidders are invited to submit bids for the project identified as 25083 Erie 1 BOCES - Potter Heatex MUA Replacement, located at Erie 1 BOCES Potter Career & Technical Center, 705 Potter Rd, Buffalo, NY 14224. The work consists of a multiple contract project for a Mechanical Construction prime contract. Bids must comply with provided Instructions to Bidders. Bid bond payable to the owner shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after bid opening. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to re-advertise for new bids, and to waive informalities and irregularities in connection with any bid. Bidders or subcontractors who return all Bidding and Contract Documents in good condition within ten (10) days of receipt of bids and have remitted payment, will receive a full refund of the deposit. A pre-bid conference will be held by request. Site visits can be scheduled. Bid documents are available for examination at listed plan rooms and for prime contractors through Avalon Document Services. A deposit is required for document sets, refundable upon return. Bidders or subcontractors returning documents in good condition within ten days of receipt of bids and with remitted payment will receive a full refund of the deposit. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and acceptable insurance will be required of the successful bidder. All potential bidders must be able to self-perform a minimum of 20% of the work associated with the contract submitted for bid.
