Site work for a power facility in Lafayette, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.
The scope of work shall consist of, but is not limited to, providing labor and equipment necessary for the installation of electrical facilities on the overhead portion of the municipal power system. The Contractor or the Contractors designated General Foreman shall have a minimum of fifteen (15) years experience in the construction and maintenance of energized overhead electric distribution lines of at least 13.8 kV and energized overhead electric transmission lines of at least 69kV. All questions regarding this project must be submitted no later than 4:00 PM on March 6, 2026 to be considered valid. All questions be summitted in writing to Heather Kestler at hkestler@lafayettela.gov. It is agreed and understood that the construction and installation of the above enumerated work by the Contractor shall be completed, accepted and ready for use within the days specified as follows: twelve (12) months with an option to renew for three (3) additional one-year terms upon mutual agreement of owner and contractor from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. The Lafayette Consolidated Government reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or any portions thereof, to waive informalities and to select the material that best suits its needs.
