The scope of work includes roadside mowing of County road allowances for the County of St. Paul during the summers of 2026, 2027, and 2028, with the possibility of a two-year extension based on satisfactory performance and mutual agreement. The mowing covers more than 2,600 and up to 3,000 kilometers annually, with operations occurring between July 10 and September 15 each year. Mowing consists of first and second passes as applicable, and includes additional width cuts on designated roads. Shoulder mowing requires a 15-foot cut adjacent to both sides of the roadway, or a minimum of 8 feet where a full cut is not feasible. All vegetation, including woody growth up to 1.5 inches in diameter, must be cut uniformly to approximately 4 to 6 inches in height. The work must avoid depositing debris on the road, causing excessive right of way damage, or damaging County infrastructure such as signs and culverts. Any damage caused or observed must be reported to the County as soon as practicable. The County may adjust mowing priorities as operational needs require, and time frames for completion may be adjusted by mutual agreement due to inclement weather.
