Installation of automatic door closures for Operating Room and Prosthetics areas at the East Orange VA Medical Center. Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, parts, and equipment necessary to install electronic automatic door operators with wave plates on designated doors. The contractor shall install an ED100 narrow header surface-applied operator on paired OR doors located in Building 1, Floor 2, C Wing, and an ED100 narrow header surface-applied operator on a single Prosthetics door located in Building 1, Floor A, Room A-700. All work shall be performed by AAADM-certified technicians and completed outside of normal working hours, except on Sundays and federal holidays. Upon completion, the contractor shall ensure all door operators are fully functional and shall provide a written work report documenting completed tasks, corrective actions taken, parts used, and recommendations to extend the useful life of the doors. All work shall be completed within 14 calendar days from date of award in accordance with the Statement of Work. Location: Veterans Health Administration of New Jersey, East Orange VA Medical Center, 385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07018. The period for questions is hereby extended to 2:00pm ET on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
