Applications for the Depository of Brazoria County Drainage District No. 8 will be received by the Commissioners at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12th, 2026, and publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Danbury City Hall at 6105 Fifth Street, Danbury, Texas, in accordance with the specifications prepared by the board. A contract for the depository will be made for two years (March 12, 2026 through February 28, 2028) after opening and tabulation of bids. A certified check in the amount of $500.00 is required; cashier’s checks or bank money orders are not acceptable. Bids may be mailed to be received no later than the above-mentioned meeting time to Brazoria County Drainage District No.8, P.O. Box 293, Danbury, TX 77534. The outside of the sealed envelope must be clearly marked: “BANK BID ENCLOSED.” All usual rights of acceptance or rejection are reserved.
