Site work and renovation of a civil project in Kelso, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision for construction in Cowlitz County as follows: replacing three existing 15 HP end-suction pumps with two refurbished, Owner-furnished, Contractor-installed 20 HP in-line multistage pumps at the Haussler Booster Station; installation of a new sanitary service; construction of a new pump house floor and pump bases; installation of a new flow meter in a separate vault; replacement of valves, fittings, and piping within the existing CMU pump house and in its immediate vicinity; installation of a new electrical service and upgrades to instrumentation and control systems; minor upgrades including installation of a chlorine analyzer with associated piping, valves, a pressure-reducing valve (PRV), replacement of heaters, and installation of new exterior lighting. At the Highland Park Clearwell and booster station, the work includes adding a new submersible level transducer for continuous level feedback to control pump run/off and speed modulation through variable frequency drives, while existing float switches will remain as a redundant backup. All work must be completed in accordance with the plans and contract documents. Bids must be submitted on the regular form furnished with the specifications in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the name of the bidder, the project name, and the date and time of the bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check or bidder's bond made payable to the City of Kelso in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited. The City of Kelso reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, and to accept any bid for the project which appears to serve the best interest of the City.
