Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to construct approximately 2,560 linear feet of 18 inch HDPE sewer pipe using open cut installation methods. The new piping will replace an existing 14-inch AC pipeline that conveys flow from a pump station that must remain in service. Bypass pumping will be necessary throughout the duration of the work. Additionally, the work includes construction of a rock buttress for slope protection, demolition of an existing carport, installation of two air vacuum valve assemblies, and connections to existing sewer piping with all necessary fittings and appurtenances. The scope also includes clearing and grubbing of the project corridor, restoration of disturbed areas, miscellaneous landscaping, and full pavement restoration in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and applicable standards. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the work. All bids must be submitted on the regular bid form furnished within the specifications.
