Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ashley, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work consists of the repair and resurfacing (motor paving and chip and seal) of various roads as directed by the trustees. Bids shall include the following materials and services: MC-3000 asphalt for sealing to be furnished, hauled, heated, and applied by the gallon; No. 9 aggregate for sealing to be furnished, hauled, spread, and rolled by the ton; MWS 150 asphalt for mixing to be furnished, delivered, and applied by the gallon; No. 8 limestone for mixing to be furnished, hauled, mixed, and rolled by the ton; No. 411 aggregate for berming to be furnished, delivered, and rolled by the ton. Bids shall be by the gallon and ton as well as per mile. Estimates should be for 16ft and 18ft wide roadways and bids should be based on a 90 pound mix, including formula. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price. Labor employed must conform to the standards set by the U.S. Department of Labor. The contract will be awarded to the lowest or best bid. The trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
