The Engineer's estimated range for the construction cost of this Project is between $200,000 and $250,000. The scope of work includes constructing a Type II Latex Modified Slurry Seal, totaling 50,000 square yards, and installing longitudinal pavement markings with paint, totaling 7,000 linear feet. Bidders must submit sealed bids in a plain envelope bearing the bidder's name, project name, bid opening date and time, and marked with the specified bid number. Proposals must be made on provided forms and accompanied by a Bid Bond equal to ten percent of the total bid. The form of the bid bond should be either the Surety's standard form or the AIA form. Addenda and clarifications will be posted on the Engineering Division website and emailed to plan holders, with addenda signed and submitted with the bid proposal for responsiveness. The major items of work and estimated quantities are as follows: 1. Construct a Type II Latex Modified Slurry Seal, 50,000 SY, and 2. Install longitudinal pavement markings - paint, 7,000 LF. Bidders do not need to be prequalified. All proposals shall be made on the forms provided and accompanied by a Bid Bond, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The form of the bid bond shall be either the Surety's standard form or the AIA form.
