Project has been cancelled Lubbock Power & Light is soliciting bids for the following: RFP 7123-26-ELD - Oliver Substation 50 MVA Transformer Repair. ALL REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OR CLARIFICATION CONCERNING THIS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING THROUGH THE VENDOR DISCUSSION TAB NO LATER THAN DECEMVER 10, 2026 BY 5 P.M. CST All materials shall be new and of high quality which shall give long life and reliable operation. Parts subjected to high temperature shall be of such design that serious deformations shall not occur within the normal life of the transformer. All transformer shall be modern in design and shall not have been in prior service except as required by factory tests. All parts shall be made accurately to standard gauges, where applicable, to facilitate maintenance, replacement, and repairs. All special gauges and templates necessary for field erection shall remain the property of LP&L. b) The workmanship shall be of high quality in every detail. All work shall be performed and completed in a thorough and workmanlike manner and shall follow the best modern practice in the manufacture of high quality apparatus, notwithstanding any omissions from these specifications. Question Deadline 03/04/2026 at 5:00 PM CT Any Offeror in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the RFP or other documents may request an interpretation thereof from the Purchasing Manager. At the request of the Offeror, or in the event the Purchasing Manager deems the interpretation to be substantive, the interpretation will be made by written addenda issued by the Purchasing Manager.
