The Town of Ashley, Indiana, will receive sealed proposals for 2026 Street Improvements, which include the following parts: Part 1 - Garrison Ave (State St (SR 4) to Garfield St), Part 2 - Grand Ave (Morgan St to State St (SR 4)), and Part 3 - Gonser Ave (Farrington Dr to Pearl St). The work and proposals must include all necessary sums for General, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Installation, Labor, Materials, Tools, Equipment, Taxes (Federal and State), Permits, Licenses, Insurance, and Service Costs required for construction. All materials provided and labor performed must comply with the contract documents and any addenda as prepared by the Engineer. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond for not less than five percent of the highest aggregate proposal. Approved Performance and Payment Bonds for one hundred percent of the contract price are required at contract execution, valid for twelve months from acceptance and final payment. Bids must be executed on the forms provided, including the Non-Collusion Affidavit, and include the revised Indiana Questionnaire Form No. 96. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty days after the bid opening without Owner consent. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid or combination of bids, and to waive informalities in bidding. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of the Bids may not be answered.
