Site work and paving for a road / highway in Niles, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for the TRU-Summit Avenue/Olive Street Mill & Fill Project. Envelopes must be clearly marked with the project name. Each proposal must include the full name and address of all interested parties; if a corporation, also the names and addresses of the president and secretary. Proposals must comply with ORC, including 735.06, and provide bid and performance sureties if applicable. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Plans, specifications, and bidding forms are available from Thomas Fok & Associates, Inc. at 3896 Mahoning Avenue, Youngstown, OH 44515, for a non-refundable fee of $50.00 plus shipping and handling per set. Checks are to be made payable to Thomas Fok & Associates, Inc. Submittals must be mailed in a sealed envelope and received by 10:00 a.m. on March 5, 2026, to City of Niles, Attention: City Auditor, 34 West State Street, Niles, Ohio 44446. This improvement shall consist of milling, resurfacing, ADA curb ramps, pavement markings and traffic signal loop replacement as set forth in the plans and estimates. Project length is approximately 4,714' (0.89 mile) on Summit Avenue (between Niles Wastewater Treatment Plant and Robbins Avenue) and 3,998' (0.76 mile) on Olive Street (between Olive Street Bridge and Spring Street).
