Site work and paving for a road / highway in Derby, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Separate sealed bids are invited for the construction of the 2026 Pavement Rehabilitation Program in Derby, Sedgwick County, Kansas. The project consists of two parts: Part A includes milling, overlay, pavement and subgrade removal, installation of reinforced crushed rock base, asphaltic concrete pavement, removal and replacement of curb and gutter, patching, crack repair, various pavement markings, installation of backyard inlets and stormwater pipes, sidewalk and driveway replacement, water line relocation, site clearing, restoration, seeding, erosion control, and traffic control. Part B includes reconnection of water service, abandonment of the 2-inch waterline, traffic control, and site clearing and restoration. Bidders must comply with the requirements of the President’s Executive Order No. 11246 regarding nondiscrimination in employment. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, made payable to the City of Derby and drawn on a solvent Kansas bank or trust company. These checks or bonds will be retained until the contract for the project has been awarded.
