The project involves street and utility reconstruction for Eggener Street and Wells Street, Project No. 2026-200, in the City of Marinette. The scope of work includes: 2,265 cubic yards of common excavation, 2,000 cubic yards of excavation below subgrade, 1,750 cubic yards of backfill granula, 3,000 tons of crushed aggregate base course, 860 tons of HMA pavement, 2,000 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 13,200 square feet of concrete sidewalk and driveway, 875 linear feet of 24-inch sanitary sewer, 1,125 linear feet of water main, 670 linear feet of storm sewer, and 1,650 square yards of lawn restoration. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the maximum bid amount, which may not be withdrawn for 45 days after the bid deadline. Bid security is retained if the bidder is awarded the work and fails to execute the agreement and furnish 100% performance and payment bonds. Bidders must pre-qualify by submitting a Bidder's Proof of Responsibility five days prior to the bid deadline. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and/or accept the bid most advantageous to the City.
