Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for the application of an Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course (UTBWC) on various roads in Conewago Township, Adams County. The base bid includes 50,363 square yards on Lynx Drive, Ocelot Drive, Cheetah Drive, Panther Drive, and Poplar Street. Alternate bid items include application of UTBWC on Ram Drive (11,066 sq. yds.), Cougar Drive (4,775 sq. yds.), Puma Drive (2,003 sq. yds.), and S. 4th Street (724 sq. yds.). Liquidated damages are set at $150.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Municipality or Project Engineer. A performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount is required from the successful bidder within 20 days of contract award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The scope of work for this project involves the placement of Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course (UTBWC) on various roadways within Conewago Township. All work is detailed within Attachment 1-B. All work and materials shall be in accordance with PennDot Publication 408 Section 489 specifications. Work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and traffic control incidental to all pavement operations. Traffic control shall be in accordance with PennDOT Publication 213, as most recently revised. This project is located on Puma Drive, Lynx Drive, Ocelot Drive, Cougar Drive, Ram Drive, Cheetah Drive, S. 4th Street, Panther Drive, and Poplar Street within Conewago Township, Adams County.
