Site work and paving for a road / highway in Moab, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Stabilize gravel roads using an approved dust suppressant applied to designated unpaved road segments within Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Work includes preparing road surfaces, applying the dust-control product at the specified rate, ensuring uniform coverage, and completing all treatment in accordance with park requirements and environmental protection standards. All materials, equipment, labor, and application methods must meet National Park Service specifications to improve road stability, reduce airborne dust, and support safe visitor and operational access. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF STATEMENT OF WORK Independently, and not as an agent of the Government, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide Dust Suppressant to Stabilize Gravel Roads Arches & Canyonlands National Parks Questions regarding this solicitation will only be accepted until 12:00 PM MS, Feb 17, 2026. A. General Specifications: Supply delivers 275 tons and applies 275 tons of magnesium chloride dust suppressant solution to Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park dirt roads and parking areas. B. Extent of Work. All work will be performed under a single contract. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment so that the Park has Magnesium Chloride Dust Suppressant (hence forth known as dust suppressant) applied to its dirt roads and parking areas as outlined in the SOW. C. Locations. 1. Arches National Park. Arches National Park is located 5 miles north of Moab Utah. There are two roads within the park that will require work, the Balanced Rock Boneyard road and the Salt Valley Road. The Balanced Rock Boneyard Road begins approximately 9 miles from the entrance station on the main park road. The Salt Valley Road begins approximately 8 miles further on the main road from Balanced Rock Boneyard Road or is 17 miles from the park entrance. 2. Canyonlands National Park - Needles District. The Needles district is 76 miles from Moab Utah. From Moab Utah head south on highway 191 for approximately 42 miles and turn right on Highway 211. Do not turn right at the Needles Overlook road which is approximately 35 miles south of Moab. Once on Highway 211 proceed for 34 miles to the Needles district entrance station. There are two roads within the park that will require work, the Cave Springs road, and the Elephant hill road. At the entrance station, ask directions to the Cave Springs road and the Elephant hill road, they are both within two miles of the entrance station. Period of Performance: 03/24/2026 to 04/30/2026
