Project Location: Grand View Point Overlook. The work site is located approximately 45 miles from Moab, Utah. Travel 10 miles north of Moab on U.S. Highway 191. Travel west and then south on State Highway 313 approximately 23 miles to the Island in the Sky Visitor Center. Travel 12 miles south of the Visitor Center, past Mesa Arch and continue south (straight) at the junction another 6 miles ahead to the site. The project involves supply and install two new double vault toilets with windscreens and a squat plate opening. The double vault toilets to be installed shall have a shed roof sloped at a 2 to 12 ratio. This work involves excavating the vault pad, supplying and placement of the vaults, buildings and windscreens, and final backfill and compaction around the vaults to the pre-determined subgrade elevations. The work consists of supplying and installing two new double vault toilets with windscreens and a squat plate opening at Grand View Point Overlook in Canyonlands National Park. The effort includes excavation of the vault pad, placement of the vault units, construction and installation of the buildings and windscreens, and final backfilling and compaction to predetermined subgrade elevations. The installed double vault toilet structures must include a shed-style roof with a 2:12 slope. Magnitude of Project: $250,000 and $500,000.
