The scope of work includes the following: 1. Bid Section I (Base Bid): Provide all labor, materials, and equipment for the installation of a High Service Pump Station (HSPS), including construction of the foundation and wet well, connection to existing onsite water mains, abandonment of existing water mains, installation of new onsite water mains, valves, fittings, electrical service, generator, and any other incidental components as indicated in the plans and specifications. 2. Bid Section II (Base Bid): Replacement of approximately 3,500 linear feet of 12-inch water main using both Horizontal Directional Drilling and open cut methods. Work includes installation of hydrants, valves, miscellaneous fittings, connections to existing water mains, service lines, new curb stops, connection of service lines, flushing, testing, disinfection, and other construction activities as detailed in the specifications. a. Alternate Bid: Remove existing curb stops, install meter pits, and connect new and existing water service lines to and from the meter pits. The owner will install meters within the contractor-installed meter pits. 3. Bid Section III (Base Bid): Chemical feed, WTP site piping, and temporary treatment support as shown on the plans and detailed in the specifications.
