Work shall generally consist of constructing concrete curb ramps in existing sidewalks. Additional work shall include removing and replacing concrete sidewalk, curb, gutter and valley gutter, replacing and relocating existing landscaping and other facilities, removing and replacing asphalt concrete paving, replacing pavement marking and markers, traffic control, and water pollution control at various locations in the City of Antioch, CA. All bidders must purchase a complete bid set from BPXpress Reprographics in order to be considered responsive and to receive addenda notifications. All contractors and subcontractors listed on the bid proposal must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No contract will be awarded to a contractor or subcontractor unless registered with Department of Industrial Relations. No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9, Division III of Business and Professions Code. Award of the contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with all the requirements described. The City of Antioch reserves the right to reject any and all bids or portions thereof; to accept a bid or portion thereof; to postpone making the award for a reasonable length of time; or to waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights.
