A brief summary of the Work involved in the Inch Park inclusive play space construction Contract includes (but is not limited to): o Apply for and obtain building permits, water meter permit, road cut permit and electrical permits. o Supply and install tree protection hoarding and sediment control measures. o Demolish existing asphalt walkways, concrete curbs, a portion of concrete sidewalk, playground equipment, selected trees and areas of grass. o Salvage and stockpile existing granular basecourse and wood fibre playground surfacing. o Salvage and relocate existing storage shed, including electrical panel and floodlight. o Salvage benches and garbage cans. o Strip, screen and stockpile topsoil. o Excavation, rough grading and compaction. o Dispose off-site excess soil. o Supply and install drainage structures, subsurface drainage and sewer connections. o Supply and install water service and irrigation system. o Supply and install electrical submeter panel, lighting (including timers, photocells and motion sensors where applicable), electrical connections, wiring and conduit. o Supply and install concrete curbs, concrete ramps with steel handrails, armourstone retaining walls and rounded field stone. o Supply and install concrete paving, rubber protective safety surfacing, artificial turf protective safety surfacing, asphalt paving and coloured coating on asphalt. o Supply and install drinking fountain. o Supply and install water play feature. o Fabricate, supply and install custom playground equipment. o Supply and install catalogue playground equipment. o Supply and install sun shelter structure. o Supply and install benches and picnic tables. o Supply, install and maintain trees and sod. o Supply, install and maintain garden beds with shrub and perennial planting.
