Sealed bids are requested for the Valley Road Storm Sewer project. The major items of construction include the installation of 65 square yards of pavement restoration, 4 inlets, 88 linear feet of storm sewer, 1 endwall, and other associated items. Bidders must submit a certified check or bank check payable to Millersville Borough or a Bid Bond as described in the bidding documents, executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to 10% of the Total Bid. Bidders are required to submit a non-collusion affidavit. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will also be required. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held for up to 60 days from the opening date for review and qualification verification. The project is subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
